This is an acrylic painting of one of the many spectacular views from our trip along the Skerwink Trail out of Port Rexton, Newfoundland. This exhilarating trek follows the cliff tops along the Atlantic from the Port to the town of Trinity. The tree in the foreground shows how this natural bonsai survived the conditions and wild weather to develop the amazing lyrical shape.

Brent Arlitt resides in downtown Toronto, and enjoys seeing the endless possibilities for conveying the wonder and joy of being into his paintings. Brent has always had a keen interest in art and photography. In the past few years, he has participated in a number of courses and workshops in oil painting, watercolour and acrylics. Some of his most enjoyable painting experiences have involved pleine air painting at locations such as Grand Manan Island NB, Jekyll Island GA, Haliburton ON, Thornbury ON, in the City of Toronto, and numerous other locations.
