This is the view from our hotel in the Sultanahmet, the old part of Istanbul Turkey. At nights in October my wife and I frequently sat on the rooftop terrace of our hotel (The Daphne) under perfect conditions, with a drink, while watching the most spectacular sunsets.
Brent Arlitt resides in downtown Toronto, and enjoys seeing the endless possibilities for conveying the wonder and joy of being into his paintings. Brent has always had a keen interest in art and photography. In the past few years, he has participated in a number of courses and workshops in oil painting, watercolour and acrylics. Some of his most enjoyable painting experiences have involved pleine air painting at locations such as Grand Manan Island NB, Jekyll Island GA, Haliburton ON, Thornbury ON, in the City of Toronto, and numerous other locations.
