Inspired by a Toronto vintage photograph of these two ladies and a trip to Toronto Island, I composed this painting with the 1933 ferry and skyline. One lady, who looks more experienced, is clearly the elder leader.
Brent Arlitt resides in downtown Toronto, and enjoys seeing the endless possibilities for conveying the wonder and joy of being into his paintings. Brent has always had a keen interest in art and photography. In the past few years, he has participated in a number of courses and workshops in oil painting, watercolour and acrylics.
