The sunlight coming through a break in the trees at Sugar Beach created a beautiful impression of people enjoying some of the last summer days in early September. The waning sun created a golden light framed by the break in the trees, with dappled deep purple shade patterns on the warm stone pavements.
Brent Arlitt resides in downtown Toronto, and enjoys seeing the endless possibilities for conveying the wonder and joy of being into his paintings. Brent has always had a keen interest in art and photography. In the past few years, he has participated in a number of courses and workshops in oil painting, watercolour and acrylics. Some of his most enjoyable painting experiences have involved pleine air painting at locations such as Grand Manan Island NB, Jekyll Island GA, Haliburton ON, Thornbury ON, in the City of Toronto, and numerous other locations.
