I was walking along Point Road out of Blue Rocks Harbour on a beautiful sunny day when I came across this peaceful scene. The light breeze and the floating gulls made it an almost magical scene with the deep blue water contrasting against the warm weathered rocks and fishing huts.

Brent Arlitt resides in downtown Toronto, and enjoys seeing the endless possibilities for conveying the wonder and joy of being into his paintings. Brent has always had a keen interest in art and photography. In the past few years, he has participated in a number of courses and workshops in oil painting, watercolour and acrylics. Some of his most enjoyable painting experiences have involved pleine air painting at locations such as Grand Manan Island NB, Jekyll Island GA, Haliburton ON, Thornbury ON, in the City of Toronto, and numerous other locations.
